CEDRUS LIBANI ESSENTIAL OIL
Our steam-distilled Cedrus Libani essential oil is accepted by one of the best perfumeries in America. For the distillation of this precious oil, we have the necessary equipment and technology.
We are restoring the world’s oldest ship replica that has crossed two oceans. We have the largest collection of Cedar of Lebanon logs in America.
The milling of 20,000 kg of Cedrus Libani logs will produce about 2,500 kg of sawdust. We should be able to distill hundreds of thousands of milliliters of essential oils from that sawdust. It is possible that the retail price of this oil in high-end perfumes could exceed one million dollars.
Fragrances are and were large and important markets in the modern and ancient worlds. We hope to join forces with perfume makers to provide customers around the world with the aromas of the Biblically famous Cedar of Lebanon.
American high end markets are paying attention to us. With perfumes that connect to Phoenician culture and ancient history, we aim to make a million customers happy. The perfume production requires feed material. We have a good starting point.
We seek to fund the restoration of the ship by taking advantage of the opportunity to sell our steam-distilled cedrus libani essential oil to the best perfumeries in America.
LABORATORY TESTS
Laboratory tests confirm that we are producing Cedrus Libani / Cedar of Lebanon essential oils that are comparable to those produced by the Phoenicians 2,600 years ago.
We have designed our own equipment as we follow the ancient methods for the steam distillation of the cedar sawdust.
We are sure that if the representatives of the Pharaoh were to come to our processing facility they would be more than happy to do business with us as they prepare their king’s body for mummification.
Spice and fragrance traders from ancient times would have been happy to deal with us in their search for sources of the cedar oil.
We have the largest collection of Cedrus Libani / Cedar of Lebanon logs in America. We are now able to distill the oil in an ancient way from these logs.
Our intent is to sell the oil to high-end perfume producers who are located in America and overseas.
Our story is true. Our product is clear. We will now promote the narrative that Phoenicians came to America 600 years before Christ.
This is the precious and sacred oil that was used in Solomon’s temple and by the Egyptians as they prepared the elaborate burials of their kings in the pyramids that are near the Nile River.
We want to show how our Phoenician Ship Replica connects the Old World to the New Wolrd with aromas that are thousands of years old.

ARPC.
Last week Mike and Betty Red Ant LaFontaine from Heartland Research met Dr. Prabodh Satyal at the Head Office of the Aromatic Plant Research Center in Lehi, Utah. They discussed with Dr. Satyal the first results for the steam distillation of essential oil from the Heartland Research Cedar of Lebanon logs from Tyler Arboretum.
Dr. Satyal is recognized as one of the world’s foremost scientists in the testing of aromatic plant materials. He has tested over 10,000 plants.
Interpretation of Test Results
We understand that high-end perfume makers are particularly interested in the content of the organic compounds under the name of himachalene. The attached report shows these compounds on three rows.
We note that the himachalene compounds are in astonishing proportions, and that they are the rare ingredients that convey the aromatic, healing and even magical capabilities of Cedrus Libani / Cedar of Lebanon.
The laboratory test results confirm that the himchalenes compounds by Area % are as follows.
14.92 alpha-Himchalene 10.72 gamma-Himchalene 49.78 beta-Himchalene 78.48 Total Himchalenes
These results indicate exactly what we would expect from the ancient and sacred Cedar of Lebanon trees that Phoenicians thousands of years cut and harvested for their ships and perfumes.
Ery'j Sassi, Heartland Research's partner in the ancient Port of Carthage, arranged a video conference with leading experts in the Old World and a University President from the New World were able to see a live stream from the Phoenicia Ship Museum in Montrose, Iowa.
Could there be a connection between the Bible and ancient America from that time of trouble in 600 BC? We believe there is. Come to Montrose, Iowa, and see how the PHOENICIA is the connecting point for the Sticks of Joseph and Judah.
Mike and Betty LaFontaine had dinner with Habib Ostra and his friends overlooking the ocean on the coast of Florida. They are getting ready for the Phoenicia Youth Week. There will be more than 20 people working on the ship from June 10th to June 16th.
With today’s technology, we connected a busload of tourists at the Phoenicia Ship Museum with our Tunisian partners in Carthage. The world’s oldest replica ship, which sailed on two oceans and two seas, was the reason for the live connection.
Mike and Betty LaFontaine The Native American couple will be at the Heartland Research Booth at the FIRM Foundation Expo, which will feature the 33rd International Book of Mormon Evidence Conference.
From Betty, More attended that evening about 100 people; once again we asked for raised hands who had heard of the Phoenicia again maybe 3! Once again Rod Meldrum presented both Mike and I did also all about The Phoenicia! Many were touched. Again Roger Cook and others traveled to…
Not everything specified by the Lord in Section 125 has yet to come to pass, like the cities being built. But prophecies often have multiple fulfillments, both immediately and in the future.

The Heartland Research Group is a grassroots, boots-on-the-ground organization that believes that the historical
narrative of the Book of Mormon took place in the Heartland of North America. The HRG is active in archaeological
research and in the acquisition, restoration and display of ancient American artifacts. The HRG is currently
preparing an ancient ship replica called the "Phoenicia" for display. The ships construction design is patterned
after a shipwreck dating to 600 BC. The Phoenicia ship made modern voyages, first around Africa and then also from
the Middle East to Florida in 2019 – proving that voyages around Africa or from Sidon to North America were
feasible anciently.
Heartland Research Inc is a 501c3 private operating foundation for archaeological research and to complete preparations for the Phoenicia display. Current plans are for a museum large enough to house the Phoenicia
ship and many other ancient artifacts and exhibits from North America. The location of the museum is planned to be
in Zarahemla which is Lee County Iowa, near the Mississippi river and east of Nauvoo, Illinois.
Our activities are too many to list, but some recent major expeditions are listed below. Many of these expeditions
are open-ended and we expect to continue research in these and other similar activities as time, resources, and
volunteers become available. We have dozens of volunteers and hundreds of donors, large and small, but we need many
more. Check out the websites listed below for details of Heartland Research Group projects. Our current project is
is our biggest yet: to refurbish the Phoenicia ship for display.
We invite you to support our efforts so we can complete these worthy goals!
If you have skills or knowledge to contribute to our research and discovery projects, please contact us directly to volunteer.
